Common questions about using Pinstark.

Pinstark is an AI-powered tool that generates Pinterest pin packs from any product URL. Paste a link to a product, choose your style preferences, and Pinstark creates titles, descriptions, blog blurbs, board suggestions, hashtags, and 3-6 images you can publish directly to Pinterest. It's designed primarily for affiliate marketers and content creators who post product-focused pins.
Each pin pack generation consumes 1 credit. Free accounts get 3 one-time trial credits. Paid plans include a monthly credit allowance (40 for Starter, 100 for Pro, 200 for Studio). Subscription credits roll over month to month while your subscription is active, up to a tier-specific cap: Starter 100, Pro 250, Studio 500. You can purchase top-up credit packs if you run out before your next renewal — pack credits are separate and never count toward the rollover cap.
When you upgrade tiers, 75% of your remaining credits convert to the new tier — this reflects the higher-quality AI models and additional features at the upgraded tier. Downgrading does not convert credits; they remain available at their original tier until used.
Pinstark uses AI image generation to create scroll-stopping visuals in the style you select (Outcome, In Scene, Flat Lay, Before, or After). The AI works from your product's description and metadata, not the actual product photo. This means the generated images are stylistic representations, not exact replicas. For pins that need to show the exact product, you can download the original product image from the source listing and use it alongside Pinstark's AI-generated visuals.
After Pinstark generates your pin pack, click the "Pin to Pinterest" button on any image. This opens Pinterest's pin creation page with your chosen title, description, and image pre-filled. You'll need to select a board and click "Publish" on Pinterest's side. Pinterest requires a separate login if you're not already signed in.
Pinterest has its own AI detection system that automatically tags content it identifies as AI-generated or edited. This label is applied by Pinterest, not by Pinstark, and we have no way to remove or prevent it. Pinterest's "AI modified" label is widely used and does not reduce reach or visibility on the platform.
Pinterest's pin creation URL (the one used by "Pin to Pinterest" buttons across the web, including Pinstark) only supports a "description" parameter, not a separate "title" parameter. To work around this limitation, Pinstark combines your selected title and description into a single, well-formatted block placed in Pinterest's description field. The title appears prominently at the start of the description. Pinterest's full Title field can only be set after you've already created the pin draft.
Pinstark applies current Pinterest best practices to every pin pack — keyword-aware titles, descriptions structured for search, board names that match Pinterest's discovery taxonomy, and 2:3 vertical formats. We refresh our SEO knowledge regularly based on Pinterest's published guidance and creator community signal. SEO is one factor in pin performance — Pinstark optimizes for what we can control.
No tool can guarantee Pinterest performance. Pin success depends on many factors outside Pinstark's control — your account's existing authority, board selection, posting time, audience match, current Pinterest trends, and algorithm changes. Pinstark gives you content that's optimized for best practices; getting traction also requires your own publishing strategy.
A few common reasons: new Pinterest accounts take time to build authority — most pins don't get traction in the first 2-4 weeks regardless of quality. Board match matters — a pin saved to a board with low followers or an off-topic name performs worse. Pinterest's algorithm favors fresh, original-looking pins; if you've published similar pins recently, the algorithm may suppress newer ones. Some niches are more saturated than others. SEO helps, but it's not a guarantee.
Full refund within 7 days of your initial subscription purchase, subject to fair usage (no more than 10 generations in that window). Credit packs are non-refundable once purchased, since the credits are added to your account and usable immediately. If a generation fails due to a Pinstark system error, the specific credits used are automatically returned to your account. See our Refund Policy for full details.
You can cancel anytime from your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you'll keep access to your tier's features until then. After cancellation, your account reverts to the Free tier. Library retention follows the Free tier rules at that point (7 days), so download anything you want to keep before cancellation completes.
Yes. Pinstark works for any product URL, whether or not you're using an affiliate link. Just leave the "Affiliate link (optional)" field blank when you generate. Pinstark only appends FTC disclosure language when an affiliate link is provided.
Velocity percentages are calculated from real Google Trends data, refreshed every 6 hours. The data reflects what's rising on Google Trends in the United States over the past 7 days, then framed by AI for Pinterest pinners. Percentages reflect actual movement on Google Trends, not Pinterest engagement specifically. If no Google Trends data is available for your search (Pro/Studio only), Pinstark generates a plausible AI-framed angle and labels it with an "AI insight" badge.
